I’ve been in the dumps of art lately. Being an american and going to art school with an anime/manga style is always so treacherous and I don’t really know what’s fun anymore. I hate being looked down on for such things even if professor’s are accepting of this style.

But I want to find MY style…I don’t know what it is, I feel so mediocre. I want to be unique but in ways that I still enjoy my work and am not doing it for the sake of uniqueness. Sometimes I wish I never got into anime/manga.

I guess I’ll just go through my work and write everything I hate of it and change it. Is that how you find style? Oh well.

I want to have a good career.

I want to be successful.

I don’t want to be a nobody.
